Anything Is Possible

I am Daniel Yousefi, the President and the Co-Founder of Education Ends Hunger. I believe that education is the basis for a lifetime of success. A strong educational foundation promotes human dignity by nurturing the social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills needed to prosper.

And, yes, education even provides the tools to end the cycle of poverty.

I believe that ALL children around the world deserve a quality education – the provision of which can help eradicate poverty worldwide. And this is a well-supported theory: UNESCO has estimated that the global poverty rate would be cut in half if all adults completed secondary school.

All too often, however, access to quality education seems to be dictated by geography. The impetus behind the creation of Education Ends Hunger was to raise money to finance the support of education in Iran, Afghanistan, India, Mexico, and other countries throughout the world.

Education Ends Hunger’s Core Mission is twofold:

● To provide students with the basic tools they need to be successful – such as clothing and school supplies; and

● To ensure that school facilities have the amenities they need to offer safe learning environments – like healthy drinking water, water coolers, and heaters.

At Education Ends Hunger, our ultimate goal is a strong education for ALL students, to give them the best chance of accomplishing great things. Our aim is to provide as many students as possible with the tools they need to be successful. My wish is that, by improving education around the world, I can help to eradicate poverty.
